The territory of special

The inclusive workshop at the neuropsychiatric dispensary is a small community of special people united in it: day clinic patients, psychologists and volunteers. Socio-therapeutic interaction is one of the methods of group psychotherapy. It is used for the socialization of patients who have various mental disorders. There is no mandatory visit here. People come here simply because it is comfortable for special people to be here, to create and do something with their own hands. Some of them have personal projects, and some have collective creativity. Getting there and observing the activities of this group of people, it is almost impossible to recognize where a person with a diagnosis is and where a psychologist is.

Yuri about Kristina:

I call her Chris. She knows how to use a screwdriver and a hammer better than many men. The helmswoman of the Grand Lodge of Solaris. The English word "lodge" in this case means this workshop. This is a room in which an art object is being created. Kristina always finds simple solutions to complex problems. She prefers black and white clothes and loves nature in all manifestations. She is constantly learning something new. She could be the Grand Master of the Polar Star Lodge. In the Middle Ages, Chris would have been burned at the stake long ago. A great actress and sacredly keeps secrets from her personal life. She has attractive magic. She controls her sensual nature in order to pacify her passions and become absolutely free and serene. But alone, it is difficult to cope with this. In other words, Chris is erecting a temple of the soul, like a real mason. And in her own soul she strives to strengthen, to create a symbolic series of winding passages or connections of the psyche that allow her to express complex metaphysical concepts in convenient and symbolic forms.

Kristina about Yuri:

Yuri is one of the most creative people in the workshop. There is an idea in all his creations. And it does not matter whether it is embodied by artistic means or engineering. He paints, makes luminous installations, makes amazing constructions that can be suspended houses in the swamp and portable cinemas as well. At first I was afraid of him. We kept our distance, but at the same time I always felt that he was watching me. But one day, when assembling office desks, I grabbed a heavy part that almost dropped on his head. "Yura! Well, what are you doing!", I suddenly said. And it's like something broke. Instead of a cautiously polite address, something sincere, simple, very human arose. Since then, it all started, spontaneously and from the both sides. At the moment, many newcomers have come to our community. I also have my own special relationship with some of them. But Yuri is like my first child. Although he is eight years older. Someday I will quit the project and I will miss it. But now we live and enjoy our creations and I am grateful for every day in which there is me, Yura and whole our "inclusive workshop". It's hard for me to find a name for our relationship. But from the point of view of psychoanalysis, (as I understand it) – this is love. Our relations have strict restrictions – this is the time, this is the place, these are certain restrictions. But inside these frames this is love.
